Would you make a talented Investors in People Specialist?
Investors in People specialises in transforming business performance
through people. That’s not just for today or tomorrow, but continuously, by helping organisations map the way forward to their future objectives. Now by working with Investors in People organisations can ensure that they are making the most of the framework.
We have an exciting opportunity for people to join us as a Registered Specialist.
People join us because they are looking for challenge, variety and career growth and a chance to put their experience to good practice. They come from a wide range of backgrounds including those who saw the impact that Investors in People had on their own organisation and were inspired to go out and bring the same benefits to others.
What are we looking for?
Able to build relationships at all levels
These roles are for good communicators who enjoy talking to people at all levels within organisations. You need to be able to gain people’s trust quickly and influence their behaviour.
Professional and knowledgeable
The focus is on helping organisations achieve their objectives through transforming performance through their people. They expect you to be credible, knowledgeable and consistent. They want intelligence advice and insight from someone experienced, not only in Investors in People but in how effective organisations can succeed and manage change by linking objectives.
Self-reliant and independent
Roles like this take drive. You need to be a self starter, effective at planning and happy to work on your own in the field.
What’s in it for you?
Challenge, stimulation and variety. You will work closely with senior management who are looking for insight and advice, so this is a chance to influence change at the top level.
Personal growth and skills development
Continuing support, development and coaching will be on offer to help you refine your skills as an organisational development professional – but this is also an opportunity to learn from the practices you will see in some of the most switched on organisations in Scotland.
Independence within a supportive framework
Being a Specialist gives you the best of both worlds, with all the advantages of being your own boss, but with the added support of guidance, advice, conferences, learning sets and a strong peer network.
