Into Africa, Developing Leadership - Coaching for Success
Would you like to experience the professional and personal development experience of a lifetime, in a project that changes lives on two continents?
Our June programme is designed for leaders who can only achieve their goals by getting others involved and working to a shared vision or objective. In essence that means anyone in a leadership role, because successful leaders rarely... achieve their goals without the support and involvement of people around them.
In the awe inspiring, but challenging environment of Northern Kenya, you could be spending a week learning like you’ve never done before. Away from the normal distractions of work or family life, there is time for you to reflect, share, challenge and be challenged. Some of the learning is workshop based, some takes place as we embark on challenges in the bush and you’ll also have the chance to test and develop your skills in local communities.
There are still a few places available on the course in June. If you are looking for a course which is completely different to anything you’ve experienced before, this may be for you. With many executive education courses charging an average of £1,000 a day, this 10 day programme also offers fantastic value as well as an utterly unique development opportunity.

Former participant, Liz Jackson who completed the Kenyan leadership challenge in 2010, said:
“When I first heard about the Kenyan leadership challenge I was told it would be the learning experience of a lifetime and this was so true. There were certainly no ‘mod cons’ available to us. From one who likes her home comforts, a bucket for a shower just isn’t appealing at all, however it is amazing how quickly I adapted to life in the wilderness.
As part of a UK team, we worked with groups of Kenyan leaders and managers to help develop their own business skills. My own team included people from the Somalian and Massai communities. The hunger for learning was quite unique and something we don’t see in the UK that often. Added to this was our own leadership development and this is where the real challenge started. I doubt there are better opportunities available that allow you to test your leadership and collaborative skills in team based challenges out in the wilderness. This was truly an unforgettable experience and one I would recommend to everyone in business as this leadership experience is no run of the mill challenge. Would I do it again, most definitely.”
