IIP Assessment
The assessment is an important part of working with Investors in People. It provides validation of your hard work as well as useful and constructive insights on what you might still have to do to achieve your business objectives.
“Our Specialist was first rate. The entire process has helped motivate and focus staff to the benefit of our organisation. A worthy investment.”
Claire Scott, East Renfrewshire Council Library and Information Service
If you are unsure whether assessment is right for you at the moment, an advisor can provide impartial advice to assist you.
The Assessment Process
Our assessment and review process has changed a great deal with the introduction of New Choices. The assessment is a bespoke review for your organisation focusing on your business objectives.
There is also increased flexiblity with the assessment as more options are now available to you.
The assessment itself is broken into four parts outlined below:
The Planning Meeting
This consists of a 2-4 hour session between you and your Specialist discussing what your business objectives are and what you want the assessment to focus on.
The Onsite Time
The onsite time will be agreed between you and your Specialist and will be used to conduct interviews with a selection of your employees. This a paperless process.
The Report
The report will cover:
- Business strengths
- Development areas
- Anonymous feedback from the interviews
The Continuous Improvement Activity
This is an opportunity for you to meet with your Specialist to discuss the recommendations of the report in depth and how you can continue to develop and improve.
